IGCSE Combined Sciences subject is now approved as one of subjects that can be taken to complete 8 IGCSE subjects. It’s not an obligatory subject but a student who enjoys studying sciences and got good grades in sciences can study it to complete his 8 IGCSE subjects.
Combined Sciences is a subject that combine Biology, Chemistry & Physics subjects together and it consists of 3 paper, same system as any science subject.
As we said, this subject is divided into 3 branches: Biology, Chemistry & Physics. Here’s a brief overview about the content of each branch:

- Animal nutrition
- Transport
- Gas exchange and respiration
- Coordination and response
- Reproduction
- Organisms and their environment
- Human influences on ecosystems
2)Chemistry:
- The particulate nature of matter
- Experimental techniques
- Atoms, elements and compounds
- Stoichiometry
- Electricity and chemistry
- Energy changes in chemical reactions
- Chemical reactions
